Age DivisionProgram OverviewRequired Equipment
U7 The U7 division is an introduction to softball through fun, active play. Children learn basic rules and skills using games and activities. The focus is on participation, enjoyment, and learning. Runners (cleats optional), glove, helmet with a chin strap. A jersey is provided.
U9 U9 builds on the fundamentals taught in U7 and acts as a transition into more structured play. Players continue skill development through drills, practices, and simplified games. Sessions alternate between full practices and combined practice/game formats. Coaches pitch, but players may use a batting tee if needed. Every player bats and runs. Runners (cleats recommended), glove, infielders mask, helmet with a cage and chin strap. A jersey is provided.
U11 U11 is the final stage of the Softball Canada Learn to Play program. Players develop a deeper understanding of rules and gameplay with the introduction of umpires, stealing, and outs. Pitching is gradually introduced, with coaches pitching early in the season and players pitching full games later on. Skill-building remains a core focus. Runners (cleats recommended), glove, infielders mask, helmet with a cage and chin strap. A jersey is provided.
U13C, U15C, U17C, U20C These divisions are part of the Recreational (House) Program, ideal for players of all experience levels. Emphasizing skill development, team play, and enjoyment, this program balances competition with fun. Players attend weekly practices and games, and can expect participation in a local tournaments and possibly out-of-town events. Glove, helmet with a cage, infielders mask, cleats, and softball pants. Catchers need a Jill protective cup. A jersey is provided.

Volunteer Requirements

Games, practices, and tournaments wouldn't be possible without the support of our members.
To help ensure the success of our season, each family is required to submit a $100 volunteer deposit. This deposit will be refunded once 3 hours of volunteer time have been completed.

Volunteers such as head coaches, assistant coaches, scorekeepers, and team managers will automatically receive credit for the required 3 hours.

Cancellation Policy and Family Discounts


Refunds -

SPRING- if a player wishes to withdraw up to March 15th, a refund minus a $10 admin fee will be given.

If a player withdraws after March 15th, you will NOT receive a refund. 

FALL- If a player wishes to withdraw up to August 15th, a refund minus a $10 admin fee will be given. 

If a player withdraws after August 15th, you will NOT receive a refund.

Note: Unpaid fees from previous seasons or any outstanding final payments for the current year registration, will result in not being placed on a team starting in 2025 until the balance owed is brought up to date or payment arrangements have been made.

REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR OFF SEASON PROGRAMS and CLINICS unless there is a replacement registrant as costs are determined by numbers participating.
